BACKGROUND Chris M. Christian started out in the mid 80's tinkering around with programming and games on the original pc's. In college, he started out in Electrical/Computer Engineering, switching to Computer Science after 2 years. He found that he liked playing on the computer more than the electronics. He has always tinkered with computers (electronic circuits, motherboard design, assembler code, etc), but the move to Computer Science sealed his fate. After getting his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Southern Poly Tech, he went to work full-time, where he co-oped during college. With over 12 years working in the technology/computer industry, most of his experience lies in Microsoft to UNIX client/server technologies for a 24/7 mission critical company. He also did several internal database driven ASP websites. |

WHY PUG TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
Chris Incorporated Pug Technologies, Inc. with the intention of making people's
experience with the technology industry more rewarding and pleasant. Struggling
with what to call his company, Chris spent an entire day trying to find a
domain name and corporation name that was available. Not serious at first,
pugtechnologies.com was searched on, and showed to be availabe, the rest is
history. Pugs are a big part of the CEO's life as is technology, so the name
seems almost common sense now.
ENJOYMENTS
Chris enjoys life with his beautiful wife and 2 adorable pugs. Chris likes
advanced carpentry, cooking, any percussion instrument, "geeking",
softball, ATV'ing, and the outdoors. He especially takes great pride in his
customers who go on to maintenance their own websites through our training.
Seeing that sparkle in their eye when web coding "clicks" for them,
would be heart-warming for any teacher.
